[Mini Review] The Star Dwellers (The Dwellers #2) - David Estes

Title of Book : The Star Dwellers (The Dwellers #2)
Author : David Estes
Publisher : CreateSpace Independent Publishing Platform

After rescuing her father and younger sister, Adele is forced to leave her family and Tristan behind to find her mother in the cruel and dangerous realm of the star dwellers.
Amidst blossoming feelings for Adele, Tristan must cast his feelings aside and let her find her own way amongst the star dwellers, while he accompanies Adele's father to meet with the leaders of the moon dwellers and decide the fate of the Tri-Realms.
Will Adele be able to rescue her mother and make it back to the Moon Realm before the President and the sun dweller soldiers destroy her family?
Can Tristan convince the moon dweller puppets of the error of their ways?
Was Adele's lost kiss with Tristan her one and only chance at love?
In her world there's only one rule: Someone must die..

It’s been a while since I last read The Moon Dwellers, the first book in The Dwellers saga. Since The Star Dwellers is a sequel, I’ll try my best to not spoiling the plot in this review.
Continuing Adele and friends’ adventure in the realm, this book is mostly set in the star realm. Most secrets are revealed in this sequel, except the big question of the weird connection between Tristan and Adele. It’s also explained how their journey in the previous book was so easy with the coincidences which actually helped them a lot. This makes the events in The Moon Dwellers make sense.
This book is less action more negotiation. Even though there are action scenes in this book, they are not as much as in the first book. Just like The Moon Dwellers, The Star Dwellers is told from Tristan and Adele’s point of view. Adele still comes out as a tough character. I’m interested in seeing her vulnerable side but I don’t find it in this book.
All in all The Star Dweller is a good sequel and I’m curious about what would happen with Adele and the gang in the next book.
