November 2016 Wrap-Up & Favorites

Hello! Wow, I can’t believe it’s a November wrap-up post. That means only one month left in 2016. It’s time to recheck those reading challenges and reading resolutions that we planned back in January. After my epic failure in 2015 reading challenge, I decided to not participate in many reading challenge. I think it works fine so far. There’s no high expectation to be exceeded, haha. Anyway, I only read 3 books and one comic in November. Not as much as I wanted to. But Gilmore Girls: A Year in the Life was out on November 25th! It was, oh so good. I ended up watching all four seasons in one sitting. It was glorious.

Books read in November

	Sapphire Blue – Kerstin Gier (★★★)
	Sapphire Blue is the second book in the Precious Stones trilogy. I read the first book in October, loved it and I continued reading the series. I’ve already posted full review of this book here.
	Emerald Green – Kerstin Gier (★★★)
	This book is the third and final book in the Precious Stones trilogy. I must say, not a great conclusion to the series. I won’t talk about it more here since there will be spoiler and I’ve already written a full review of this book which will be posted in December.
	In the Land of Broken Time – Max Evan & Maria Evan (★★★)
	In the Land of Broken Time is a children book. I received a free copy of this book in exchange of an honest review. I’ve read and written a full review of this book, which will be posted sometime in December.
	Fantastic Four: the Life Fantastic – J. Michael Straczynski (★★★.5)
	I originally wrote a short review of this comic for November wrap-up. But once I started, I couldn’t seem to stop. I ended up writing a 400-ish words review for this comic. So I won’t write much about it in this wrap-up. All I’m saying is Fantastic Four: the Life Fantastic is a prequel or a set up for Planet Hulk and I recommend it. Even though you haven’t read Fantastic Four comic before, that’s fine. It won’t confuse you in regard to Hulk’s storyline.

Unbreakable Kimmy Schmidt

Yes! I finally watch Kimmy Schmidt! It’s created by Tina Fey. Of course it’s on my to-watch list. It was very entertaining. I love the humor and the star of the show for me is Titus Andromedon. I binge watched the series in two days (or three days, I think). I need the third season. There will be season three, won’t there?

Gilmore Girls: A Year in the Life

It’s finally streaming on Netflix! I’ve only watched Gilmore Girls about a year ago and I already invested in these girls. The revival show is better than I expected. Since I didn’t want to be disappointed, I didn’t have high expectation for the revival, especially after Fuller House (I personally think it’ll never beat the original show). But it works! It was so great to be back at Stars Hollow. The charming little town is so beautiful, especially on Winter and sometime in Fall (won’t give out any spoilers). When I started watching Winter and the cue music was playing, I got chills. Of all four episodes, my favorite is Fall. Fall has so many touching moments. I really recommend watching it, guys.

There you have it, my November wrap-up and favorites. Unfortunately, I didn’t read any books that I consider as favorite. But Gilmore Girls! I sincerely hope you try watching the show. It was that good. Anyway, have a good one!
